Level: Beginner

Thanks to the SSI Basic Diver program, you will be able to learn the basic concepts of diving and then take your first breaths underwater with a dive, applying what you have learned at one of our wonderful dive sites, to a depth of 12 meters.

We start in the morning with an explanation of the most important principles and aspects of scuba diving and afterwards, a dive is carried out at a very shallow depth, where you will have the opportunity to see schools of fish, barracudas and more marine life whilst you practice your buoyancy.

After a lunch break, we meet again at the diving center at 2:30p.m.

You will enjoy putting into practice what you have learned in the morning, this time without having to do exercises and be more relaxed.

After the briefing and preparation, we leave at 3:00 p.m. on one of our boats for a second dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters. You will dive with the same instructor from the morning session and visit one of the dive sites in the south of the island where you will see abundant marine life.

After completing the Basic Diver, a temporary diving certification is provided. It has an expiration of 6 months, during which you can continue with the training and learning by starting courses such as Open Water Diver, since the Basic Diver program includes one of the necessary dives to obtain the Open Water Diver certification.
