Master Diver is the highest recognition rating in recreational diving ranks. Earning this recognition requires a combination of experience, skill, knowledge, and the ability to assist other divers in certain situations.
Knowledge and skill are gained by completing 5 specialties, one of which must be the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue course and you must have a total of 50 logged dives.
