The Las Coloradas reef is the longest single reef in Playa Blanca and contains two separate divesite, Coloradas 1 and Coloradas 2. At a depth of between 12 and 18 meters, these two sites are perfect for both novice and experienced divers. You can dive through the Coloradas archway or come up through the top of the reef via a small cave.
One particular feature of the reef is that being relatively narrow, it is very easy to explore both sides of the reef, by crossing from one side to the other. In addition, as the reef runs in line with the shore, it is well protected from the current and is home to schools of Barracuda and Bream, as well as Rays and Angel Sharks.
