Becoming a professional technical dive instructor is just about as high as you can aspire to as a dive instructor. As a technical dive instructor you are responsible for teaching the technical divers of tomorrow how to safely plan and dive to depths beyond recreational limits. This means teaching divers how to plan dives involving accelerated decompression, gas switches and the use of nitrox and tri-mix gases.
TDI’s package of technical instructor courses includes training divers for extended range depths to a maximum of 100 metres, cavern diving and advanced and technical wreck diving.
